On April 29, 2005, the Maximum Impact Simulcast: The Influential Leader will include over 70,000 business professionals participating via satellite downlink in 500 cities across North America. IT Leadership Group and First United Methodist Church of Deland are participating as sponsor and local host site for this unprecedented Leadership event. This LIVE leadership seminar, broadcast from Atlanta, GA., has trained over 250,000 business professionals in the last four years.

Last yearÂ’s Maximum Impact Simulcast, held April 30, 2004, was one of the largest gatherings of business leaders ever. After such great success, best-selling author and gifted authority on leadership Dr. John C. Maxwell will once again be joined on stage by legendary leaders, including Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Patrick Lencioni, Coach Bobby Bowden, Marcus Buckingham, and Michael Gerber. Also featured will be Mark Sanborn, best-selling author of The Fred Factor; Brian Tracy, founder of Brian Tracy International; Jackie Freiberg, best-selling co-author of Guts: Blowing the Doors off Business as Usual; General Charles Krulak, former commandant of the US Marine Corps; and Horst Schulze, former President of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

“The business sector has been using the power of live satellite training for years,” said Dennis Worden, President of Atlanta-based Maximum Impact. “We feel privileged to be able to tap into its effectiveness in the Christian community to train more than 70,000 business leaders through the local church each year.” The business model for the Maximum Impact Simulcast consists of partnering with churches to bring relevant business and leadership training to workplace leaders in their local community. The use of churches is a logical choice because of both their desire to provide relevant leadership solutions to the needs of the business leaders in their community, as well as the venue being extremely conducive to hosting a live satellite presentation

IT Leadership Group, a DeLand based Management and Technology consulting company is sponsoring the event at the church. “Leadership development is at the core of what I do as a Contract CIO with Florida companies,” said Brian Dunnam, President of IT Leadership Group. “The most important part of any IT organization is the people, and this event emphasizes achieving success through leading people. I am proud to be part of it.”

Seminar host Dr. John C. Maxwell is the author of such best-selling books as The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership and The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork. He also is the founder of Maximum Impact and INJOY, organizations dedicated to providing resources and training for personal and professional growth. He is an authority on personal and organizational leadership development and has addressed executives from organizations such as SamÂ’s Club, Chick-fil-a, Wal-Mart, Primerica, Mary Kay, and the Indianapolis 500 Drivers.

The Maximum Impact Simulcast: The Influential Leader is open to all churches in America and will focus on the qualities that all great leaders have in common. Based on the best-selling book, Winning With People by John C. Maxwell, each speaker will illuminate certain qualities akin to their personal careers and experience, and provide in-depth perspective on how to unleash the influential leadership power in yourself and those around you.

Tickets for this event are on sale now. The event normally retails for $129 per person, but through the partnership of FUMC DeLand and IT Leadership Group, tickets are only $55 each if purchased by April 11th and only $75 after that up until the day before the event.
